Q2: What is power consumption of the balancer?
The power consumption is very low, only 50mW per cell.
Q3: If I don't use the batteries for a long time, should I disconnect the balancers?
Normally, if you don't use batteries for 2-3 months, you need to recharge them for proper maintenance. Since the balancer power consumption is low, it won't consume significant power from the battery. Whether you need to disconnect them depends on your battery pack capacity. For different capacities (10AH vs 100AH), the results vary. Contact us with your specific situation for professional recommendations.
Q4: My battery is NiCD or other special battery with nominal voltage of only 1.2V. Can I use your balancer?
Yes, that is possible. We have solutions for special batteries, such as using one balancer for two of your cells. We have many customers with special batteries where our balancers have proven to work excellently.
